West Kowloon Cultural District and Citybus Launch HK$178 All-Day Pass with Museum Discounts

HONG KONG – April 17, 2025 – The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA) and Citybus Limited have formed a strategic partnership to boost visitor numbers through a new travel and cultural experience package.

Starting Wednesday, April 22, WKCDA will roll out the “Citybus + Sightseeing” pass. For HK$178, this package offers unlimited rides on all Citybus routes—including sightseeing and airport lines—for one day. It also includes a 10% discount on admission tickets to the Hong Kong Palace Museum and M+ Museum, available at the West Kowloon ticketing office.

The initiative aims to attract both residents and tourists. Those who subscribe to the West Kowloon e-newsletter will receive an extra perk—a 35% discount on the pass.

WKCDA CEO Betty Fung Ching Suk-yee said the new offer is part of efforts to enhance the area’s appeal following the success of “Hong Kong Super March,” which brought in 1.9 million visitors. With the Easter and May Day holidays approaching, Fung expects strong turnout to continue.

Fung noted that transport links to West Kowloon have significantly improved, making it easier for visitors to access the district. She added that discussions with Citybus are ongoing to further strengthen transportation during major events.

The WKCDA hopes this collaboration will not only boost foot traffic during peak travel seasons but also promote the arts and culture scene in Hong Kong.
