BURIEN, Wash. — The Highline Heritage Museum will celebrate its sixth anniversary with a lively pirate-themed fundraiser on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at The Cove in Normandy Park. The event invites community members to enjoy an evening of fun while supporting local history.
The celebration will begin at 5 p.m. and will feature Clint Sallee, principal of Highline High School, as the keynote speaker.
The school’s drill team will also take the stage for a special performance.
In addition to honoring the museum’s contributions to the region, the evening will celebrate Highline High School’s 100th anniversary and its long-standing connection to the community.
Guests can enjoy live performances of traditional sea shanties, Caribbean-inspired cuisine, and drinks, including rum cocktails. The program will also offer a look back at the museum’s achievements and share plans for the future.
Attendees are encouraged to join in the fun by wearing pirate-themed or festive attire. Tickets are priced at $75 for museum members and $100 for non-members.
The fundraiser will help support ongoing museum programs and will highlight the legacy of the Highline High School Pirates as part of their centennial celebration.
