Celebrating over 20 years in 2025, the 19-piece Salisbury Big Band is known for its versatility. While rooted in the Swing era, the band also performs contemporary, original, and new material to entertain jazz lovers of all kinds.

The band specializes in performing diverse programs influenced by composers, arrangers, and musicians from around the globe. Their repertoire covers a wide range of styles and techniques, ensuring engaging performances for all audiences.

Whether it’s soft and sultry or lively and upbeat, the Salisbury Big Band delivers it all.

The concert will feature vocalist Jayne Deer, whose renditions of classics by Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darrin, and Ella Fitzgerald will captivate listeners.

As 2023 marks the 80th Anniversary of VE Day, the evening’s music will span from the 1920s to the Swing era, including iconic tunes from Glenn Miller, the Beatles, Vera Lynn, Van Morrison, Frank Sinatra, and Michael Bublé, putting a swing in your step.

Doors open at 6:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with refreshments available for purchase.
